Accompanying words by Eva Wiseman in the first image titled ‘The Parent Trap’ exploring how parents can navigate the chaos of decorating their children’s rooms. The second image, ‘The Renovation Rethink’ explores renovating with a eco attitude, a green essay by Fleur Britten. And the most recent, ‘Hotel Wonderful’ written by Giles Coren.
THE BIG ISSUE
Commissioned piece for The Big Issue, exploring a book of essays on empowering women in music - This Women’s Work (2022). From top left to bottom right we have Zakia Sewell, Lhasa de Sela, Laurie Anderson, Ella Fitzgerald, Yoshimi Yokota, Linda Sharrock, Kate Bush, Wanda Jackson and Wendy Carlos. Just a few of the amazing names mentioned in the text. I wanted to be sure to include a variety of ages, ethnicities, genres and instruments!

The article is all about looking at apprenticeships as an alternative to traditional degrees, to train as a speech and language therapist. Victoria Lundie and Hazel Richards worked with apprentices and mentors at Birmingham City University to explore the pros and cons of apprenticeship-based degrees.

VOICE BOX
In April 2021 I was commissioned by Voice Box and Parent Zone to create 4 illustrations to accompany their ‘Only Fans’ report highlighting the impact that the new pornography platform ‘Only Fans’ is having on young people. The report touched on all areas including both the positive and negatives for the users of the platform as well as the content creators.
