Bulletin Magazine
Cover, half page and spot illustrations for Bulletin Magazine from Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists.
The article is all about looking at apprenticeships as an alternative to traditional degrees, to train as a speech and language therapist. Victoria Lundie and Hazel Richards worked with apprentices and mentors at Birmingham City University to explore the pros and cons of apprenticeship-based degrees. Throughout the article, phrases mentioned: placements, supportive peer groups, ‘earning whilst you learn’, challenges with time-management, and balancing hands on work with academic work. So I chose to create 3 illustrations that aim to touch on these themes!
