Women In Rail

Way back in I was contacted by Transwilts as part of Great Western Rail to create some artworks for their ‘Women in Rail’ project. These artworks were to be printed on weather proof di-bond boards, and displayed in 3 stations on the Swindon to Western service route, in order to bring attention to the topic. It wasn’t until earlier this month I finally went to see my work at Warminster and Dilton Marsh train stations!

There are 4 more illustrations still to be put up in Chippenham station; we are just waiting for the go ahead post refurbishment! To read more about the project click here.

Elle Decoration - Hotel Wonderful

Another editorial illustration for possibly one of my favourite returning clients, Elle Decoration. Which can be found in their latest July issue.

This is the first commercial commission that I’ve completed solely on my ipad! It definitely took me way longer than my comfortable technique of using Photoshop and my Wacom tablet, but it’s a great start in slowly working towards my dream of illustrating remotely whilst travelling! ✈️ Hopefully when I’m away, I don’t have the same experience as the family in this story!

Another small scale bespoke illustration commissioned for a gift

To encourage myself to improve my skills on Procreate, I worked on another one off piece for a friend, as a memoir of their recent van trip around Europe, featuring their personalised van and gorgeous rescue dog, Moon! To see all of my small scale commissions, click here.
